A Beginner's Guide To

Bella Rayne

Rock • Blues-Rock • Songwriter

A teenage, self-taught guitarist and songwriter out of Mendocino, California, blending Southern rock, Americana, and the improvisational spirit of the jam-band tradition into a sound built around a big, expressive electric guitar tone.

The Short Version

Who Is She?

Bella Rayne is a rising young American rock and blues-rock singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Born in the mountains of North Carolina and raised along the coast of Mendocino, California, she is entirely self-taught, having pulled an old guitar out of her family's garage during the pandemic and learned to play by ear.

Two things stand out. First, the guitar: her playing draws on Southern rock and blues-rock, with a raw, improvisational streak that has made her a talked-about presence on the live jam circuit. Second, the speed of her rise: still a teenager, she leads the Bella Rayne Band, has shared stages with veteran roots and jam artists, and released her first full-length record in 2025.

She is an active, working musician building a catalog of original songs while touring festivals and clubs across the country. To hear where a new generation of guitar-driven roots rock is heading, this is a good place to start.
